![]() It drops every time at all crawls, if it does not drop at zero crawl it needs adjusted to be more sensitive.īUT, in order to drop at all crawls you must be very careful when nocking and "resting? " the arrow, the slightest bump and it will drop, I have modified my nocking procedure so the arrow is tilted point up when settling on the rest.ĭid it make any difference compared to the ZT?, not really for me, i face walk, however if you used one anchor point it may be very useful for dropping extreme crawls at close ranges. The nocking point came down from around 10 mm to 5 mm, based on bare shaft flight at mean crawl. It did take a wee bit off my string crawl compared to the Spig ZT I used before, not as much as I hoped for. My thoughts, the Zniper is expensive, the quality is good, its been very reliable. I have been shooting with the Zniper drop away for a few months now. Cost wise the Bidrop and Spigarelli are pretty similar with the Zniper being the most expensive. It’s well made and seems to me to have the best features. So in the end I’ve settled on the Spigarelli. It is beautifully engineered in that it has double roller bearing for the rotation and endless adjustment. Spigarelli very kindly sent me a whole new one and that has been fine. I had an issue with the Spigarelli in that the retaining grub screws that hold the rotating part to the rest had been cross threaded and it worked loose with vibration. ![]() Not a big deal in moving the wire back up but a bit irritating I found and the unintentional drops were annoying. You also have to reset it for every shot. Zniper suggested I change the nock height but I couldn’t see why I would want to do that if bareshaft tuning said it should be where it is. However light I sent the sensitivity for Zniper to hold the arrow in place without dropping at the merest hint it would not always drop at 50m.The lack of adjustability didn’t give me the same confidence in the BiDrop as with the others, especially when changing between fat indoor and skinny outdoor arrows. They all work well and foot powder testing showed that they didn’t interfere with vanes/arrow flight. The rest of the rest is almost the same as the well proven Spigarelli ZT and has all that adjustment that that rest gives. The amount of drop is controlled by a threaded allen key screw. ![]()
